Definition

  • Information Separación de la endocutícula antigua o el exoesqueleto de la epidermis subyacente, que se observa en insectos y artrópodos, entre otros. Durante el proceso de separación el organismo puede ocultarse para protegerse y se vuelve inactivo. Suele ser seguida por la ecdisis.
